Day 2, From Bandung to Yogyakarta, Culinary Tour

On our second day in Yogyakarta Malioboro walk in to shop for souvenirs. Various souvenir items, clothing and batik are sold at the right side of the road. Various knick-knacks start from accessories, key chain, various types of clothing available there. And that became the hallmark of which is fitted lined batik shop sidelines, even in a shop window batik available. The price offered was varied start from cheap to expensive.

After shopping at Malioboro we also buy special food of Yogyakarta is Bakpia. Bakpia Jogja or Bakpia Pathok, a typical food of Jogjakarta. Bakpia made ​​of a material that is a mixture of green beans and sugar, which is then wrapped with flour, then baked.

Day 1, From Bandung to Yogyakarta, at Malioboro Street


After resting from a tiring journey, we will take a walk around the famous Malioboro street. This Street is very popular with the street vendors who peddle Jogja crafts and sitting on the floor-stalls at night selling traditional food called "Gudeg" , Along the street as well-known as a gathering place for artists-artists who often perform their abilities such as playing music, painting, hapening art and others along the way.

We ride the "Becak" such a rickshaw to Malioboro street. With this vehicle we enjoy the cool air and feel the thrill ride three-wheeled vehicle.

Day 1, From Bandung to Yogyakarta, Take The Train


We start from Bandung Station at 08:00 am, on Saturday, March 9, 2013. We purposely use the train in order to see the sights on land during the trip. The series trains that are used named Argo Wilis takes about 7 hour trip.
