Singapore Journey Notes - 1

Journey from the airport Husein Bandung, Indonesia to Singapore takes about 2 hours. Schedule the earliest flight from Bandung to fly at 07.15 and arrives in Singapore at 10:00 local time. The plane landed at Changi airport Singapore. This airport is Still the best airport in the world. Changi was a good airport. It was very clean, organised and we didn't have to wait in a long queue for immigration. The staffs at the information desk were very helpful and welcoming as well.


The journey continues to the city using the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT). I have to change lines but it is the quickest way to go.

Way to MRT Station

The first place we visited was the Merlion statue. This attraction is a tourist icon of Singapore that should not be missed when you visit these countries. Merlion statue is a statue of a lion's head-bodied fish that are above the waves.

Around the area there is a deck to watch the ship and a landing sites so that visitors can be dropped from the taxi boat. In the background of the city skyline and the scenic Marina Bay, including landmark buildings such as The Fullerton Singapore and Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay.
We took a walk around the river. Then in the distance we saw views of the marina bay from a distance, the concrete jungle of Singapore are so dense. Here also we can meet with foreign tourists from various countries.
