Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

This time I will tell the story when I visited the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Culturral Park. abbreviated GWK, GWK is a tourist park in the southern part of the island of Bali. This park is located in Tanjung Nusa Dua, Badung regency, about 40 kilometers south of Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali.



In that area there is a Garuda Plaza which became the focal point of a large hall carved limestone pillars which covers more than 4000 square meters of open space called the Lotus Pond. Limestone pillars colossal and monumental Garuda statue make Lotus Pond a very exotic space.

Bali The Paradise Island, Part 3, Pura Taman Ayun-Alas Kedaton

Besides Kuta I've visited other tourist attractions in Bali, Pura Taman Ayun Mengwi.The word "Pura" means the Temple. Taman Ayun in Bali language, meaning beautiful garden.



Taman Ayun is one of the tourist destinations in Bali which is a relic of the king of Mengwi In ancient times. This temple was built in the typical architecture of Bali which has a range of typical Balinese carved ornaments. This temple is surrounded by fish ponds which makes this temple floating above the water. This temple is located in Badung Menguwi village about 18 km from Denpasar.

As I told you on the first blog about Bali which has a variety of tourist destinations, then I will try to tell you my experience when I awalk along Kuta.

In Kuta there are many shops, restaurants and public baths as well as a place for sunning yourself. Besides the beauty of the beach, Kuta beach also offers various types of entertainment such as bars and restaurants available along the beach when the Legian beach. One of the places which many travelers passed by when walking around in Kuta is Kuta Square, is a shopping area which is located in the traditional village settlement of Kuta. The types of goods sold generally are branded fashion from overseas. There are many cafes at Kuta Square area with a variety of menus offered.

The Beauty of Menado, Part 4, Boulevard, Tinutuan

Boulevard area in Manado is one of the main icons of the provincial capital. But before I visited this area I took myself to eat a special food called Tinutuan. Tinutuan is a mixture of various vegetables, it does not contain meat, so that the food could be a food-interaction between groups of people in Manado. Tinutuan usually served for breakfast along with a variety of complementary cuisine.

The Beauty of Menado, Part 3, Love of Hill

North Sulawesi is not only synonymous with the underwater beauty of Bunaken, but in Minahasa regency, more exactly in the village Kononang, has a very beautiful and peaceful. The village is only a no more than 50 kilometers from Manado.
which makes this village special because it was known to have a tourist attraction with a strong symbol of inter-religious tolerance, or the community named "Bukit Kasih" / Love of hill, many visitors from outside the district minahasa took a pilgrimage to visit the hilltop and get closer to the God or perpetuate the side of grace sense of inter-religious worship of five houses in the hills.

The Beauty of Menado, Part 2, Bunaken Bay

One of the most interesting sights I have ever visited Manado is Bunaken bay. This bay is one of the beauty of remarkable marine parks. Bunaken is actually a small island width is about 8 square kilometers in the Bay of Manado, located in the north of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Bunaken Island can be achieved by speed boat (speed boat) or a rented Glass Bottom Boat (the boat that has the glass to see underwater) with about 30 minutes drive from the port city of Manado.

Journey to Yunnan China


In 2011 I had visited the Republic of China. When I lived in kunming, the capital of Yunnan province. At that time I came in December, so the air temperature is very cold. From my hotel window looks incredibly impressive. Lots of apartments have been built in this city.

Day 2, From Bandung to Yogyakarta, Culinary Tour

On our second day in Yogyakarta Malioboro walk in to shop for souvenirs. Various souvenir items, clothing and batik are sold at the right side of the road. Various knick-knacks start from accessories, key chain, various types of clothing available there. And that became the hallmark of which is fitted lined batik shop sidelines, even in a shop window batik available. The price offered was varied start from cheap to expensive.

After shopping at Malioboro we also buy special food of Yogyakarta is Bakpia. Bakpia Jogja or Bakpia Pathok, a typical food of Jogjakarta. Bakpia made ​​of a material that is a mixture of green beans and sugar, which is then wrapped with flour, then baked.

Day 1, From Bandung to Yogyakarta, at Malioboro Street


After resting from a tiring journey, we will take a walk around the famous Malioboro street. This Street is very popular with the street vendors who peddle Jogja crafts and sitting on the floor-stalls at night selling traditional food called "Gudeg" , Along the street as well-known as a gathering place for artists-artists who often perform their abilities such as playing music, painting, hapening art and others along the way.

We ride the "Becak" such a rickshaw to Malioboro street. With this vehicle we enjoy the cool air and feel the thrill ride three-wheeled vehicle.

We start from Bandung Station at 08:00 am, on Saturday, March 9, 2013. We purposely use the train in order to see the sights on land during the trip. The series trains that are used named Argo Wilis takes about 7 hour trip.

We will visit the beaches of Batu Karas. Batu Karas is one of the beaches are becoming a tourist destination in Pangandaran area. Attraction of this one is a mix between the natural shades of attraction and rock beach with calm the natural atmosphere, friendly waves and sloping beaches. Located in the Village Batukaras, District Cijulang with a distance of ± 34 km from Pangandaran. Sloping beaches with calm blue ocean water. Quiet atmosphere with a light breeze. View on the horizon give peace a fun and memorable vacation.

At the end of year 2012 we went to Pangandaran. Pangandaran is a town and subdistrict in Pangandaran Regency in the province of West Java, Indonesia. It is located on the southern coast of the island of Java.
