At the end of year 2012 we went to Pangandaran. Pangandaran is a town and subdistrict in Pangandaran Regency in the province of West Java, Indonesia. It is located on the southern coast of the island of Java.

From Bandung (the city where I live) total distance traveled is about 225 Kilometers through the normal route Bandung-Cileunyi-Nagrek-Malangbong-Tasikmalaya-Banjar-Pangandaran. By driving a car, the average estimated speed is 40 km / h, the journey is estimated to take approximately six hours. During the trip looks very impressive sight. Pedestrian routes from toll roads, then up the hill, through the forests and ended up on the beach at late in the afternoon.

We stayed at Menara Laut Hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of the West Coast Pangandaran. From the front of the hotel we could see the beach and hear the sound of sea waves.
After doing quite a tiring journey, we rested a night at the hotel to prepare ourselves to be able to travel in the next day.
