The Beauty of Menado, Part 3, Love of Hill

North Sulawesi is not only synonymous with the underwater beauty of Bunaken, but in Minahasa regency, more exactly in the village Kononang, has a very beautiful and peaceful. The village is only a no more than 50 kilometers from Manado.
which makes this village special because it was known to have a tourist attraction with a strong symbol of inter-religious tolerance, or the community named "Bukit Kasih" / Love of hill, many visitors from outside the district minahasa took a pilgrimage to visit the hilltop and get closer to the God or perpetuate the side of grace sense of inter-religious worship of five houses in the hills.

Love of Hills is located at the foot of the slope to the plateau which is included in the ranks of the hill in the mountain Dungusan Soputan. When entering the village Kononang and towards the hills, there is a fairly high pentagonal monument as a starting point to explore this hill, the monument itself in the call Tolerance Monument where each side will see five symbols of religions that exist in Indonesia.

Climb stairs

When climbing stairs will also look some carved in the cliff face, the face itself is a figure of Toar Lumimuut that have relevance to the origin story of the Minahasa people.

The view from the top of the hill
At the foot of the hill, visible fumes prominent gap in the cavity of the soil and there is also a pool of boiling water. This water is used as a hot water spring bath which is maintained by the locals.
